HATERS.....Who Are They?

The word haters has become a very popular word over the years and usually is in regard to people who show animosity or jealousy toward somebody else. To be honest, most of the people who I hear complaining about having haters, ARE haters. They are the ones who show jealousy and intimidation toward other people when they get a new house or car or a raise or promotion or get in a new relationship. I've had haters all my life but the reason I don't complain about them is because God showed me how I can use them as a refining tool to make me better, stronger, and wiser. The most kind of haters who I regard toward me are not those who roll their eyes at what I got on or what I'm driving or nothing like that foolishness, but   those who deliberately go against what I believe about the Lord. I feel more hatred from others based on spiritual matters instead of earthly. I guess because that's mainly where I contend for excellence, in ministry and sharing the gospel with others. I bet if my attention and focus was more on materialistic things, then more people would hate on me based on materialistic things. Really, haters are people who cannot understand the individual who they are hating on or they want to be like them or something. I really don't know but it's a shame though. So basically, if I hear a person always talking about having haters, I watch them closely because somewhere deep within themselves they show a little animosity and jealousy toward others too. Best of all, Jesus had haters but he put them all under his feet by walking in his purpose and not even worrying about what they said about him or did to him. I thank God that I'm hated for righteousness sake instead of for evil sake. It's a blessing because the bible says Woe unto you if all men speak well of you. Being a true Christian means you're going to attract opposition from those who don't understand, don't agree, or just don't want to accept everything that comes with living a victorious life in Christ. So thank you Lord for all my haters and them that oppose me because the pressure only pushes me closer and closer to you and you give me peace when I'm in your presence!!!

Intimidation

If there is anything that has drawn a wedge between people in this world, intimidation and fear of other human beings are the causes. People who are intimidated by others because of their gifts or looks or economic status or martial status or God knows what else is just plain silly. If every person strived to be their best and not worry about what anyone else has or how much better they are then the word"competition" would lose its place in a lot of people lives.  I appreciate the fact that my mother never put me in beauty pageants or talent and fashion shows as a little girl. She raised me to never measure my self worth up against another girl or woman. During my teen years, if I dated a guy and found out he was seeing another girl, I dumped him without a struggle because I'm not getting into a competition with NOBODY!!!! If I couldn't be his ONLY girl then I wasn't his girl at all. That is one of the reasons why I married my husband because he showed me something different from the other guys that he wasn't a player and that I wasn't just number one but the only one. But so many people spend or should I say waste so many years of their life by trying to outdo somebody else. It is totally STUPID!!! Maybe my view of it might be absurd but people should be able to enjoy life without running up their credit to keep up with the neighbors. Another crazy thing that I see a lot is women putting wear and tear on their bodies giving the same man who they are sleeping with, babies to try and trap him to keep him in their life. Then comes all this baby mama drama. Some wars in life can be easily avoided if somebody would just get about two cents worth of common sense and let the other person have whatever they feel they are entitled to. The reason you should let them have it is because after they get it, it's not going to produce the satisfaction that they imagine it will. I'm not speaking on giving up and throwing in the towel for things and people who are worth fighting for and working for but I'm talking about immaturity, and just plain stupidity. One of the worse kind of competition is the kind that go on in ministry. Musicians trying to out play other musicians, preachers trying to out preach other preachers and singers trying to out sing other singers. First of all, JESUS is the ONLY STAR of the show and anybody who tries to take his glory with suffer the consequences. When people act like they are intimidated by someone else, the other person usually can pick it up and they might do or say something to make it worse in order to make themselves shine even brighter. But it's wrong on both parts. We should be able to appreciate the gifts in others and use our own talents to glorify God and not ourselves.

God Is Not The Author of Confusion

Quite frankly, the biggest kind of confusion I've ever seen came from religious folks better known as church folk. It was religious people who crucified the Lord of glory. When Jesus came to earth, he endured all types of confusion. He first had to deal with his own flesh and
aaccept God's will for him to die, then there were outside forces working against him from the Pharisees and Sadducees, then the devil himself tempted him. I have respect for authority figures and will do all I can to help them in any way but my most sincere devotion and love is for God and his word. Most people in leadership grab portions of the word to keep members in their congregations. But Jesus said that the very thing or people you try to hold on so tightly to are the very ones you're going to lose. There is so much compromise until it makes a true hard-core Apostolic preacher like myself just downright angry. My anger is a holy anger and I don't try to bombard nobody but God has given me such a drive and a push to show people their error according to scripture. Two things that people fight against are water baptism in Jesus name and the baptism of the Holy Ghost evidenced by speaking with other tongues. Most altar calls are filled with people crying, seeking after God, and thirsty for "something" but they don't know what for. Then the person in charge will tell them to just receive Christ as their Savior and believe that he died on the cross and rose again and you shall be saved. But that is not scripturally correct. The Church got started on the day of Pentecost when they tarried in the upper room. God sent the Holy Ghost and the reason they knew they were filled is because they spoke in tongues. They were also baptized in Jesus name, not the titles Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. The disciples who later became apostles taught the same thing to other believers. This day and time it's about members and money. I post a lot of the scriptures on Facebook because a lot of the preachers who told me they were going to invite me to their church to preach, never did and I don't expect them to because I'm not compromising the gospel for a few preaching engagements. God is holding me accountable for telling people the truth and to let them know that even after getting saved, they still gotta live right. A lot of Christians live very un-Christian lifestyles. And because I hold to the standards of God's word, many are intimidated and accuse me of coming up against leaderships. But that is a lie. Putting the word out there is not an attack on a particular person or church but it is warfare against Satan's lies and how he is deceiving people who are comfortable in their religiosity and only use part of God's truth but won't get down into the trenches and build on the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. I trust God on this journey and remain confident that he will stand behind his Word. I pray for leaders everywhere and pray that they go back to the old landmark of teachings of Christ and the apostles in the book of Acts. I've seen pastors get shown their error by another pastor and decided to take their whole congregation (all 200 members) down in Jesus name and keep them on the altar until God filled them with the Holy Ghost. The experience is still real and God will still do in this day what he did back then. But again, I can't help but be reminded that we are so close to the second coming of Jesus Christ and the Antichrist will be soon getting in position to deceive those who will not accept the fullness of God's truth. So that is biblical as well. But to those who want it God is willng  and waiting to do it for you. The question for many is, " Who will baptize me in Jesus name"? Well, a Holy Ghost filled person should be willing to do so at any time of day or night. If I was in your city, I would do it myself (smile). Maybe one day that might be possible.....YAY!!!!! But God is not the author of confusion, it's just that when people have become accustomed to doing things their way for so long and then when the truth comes on the scene they try to make the truth look like a lie, and their way look like the truth. Another thing before I close, is that yes we become saved by grace and not of works but it is the grace of God that should lead us to obeying God. If any confusion arises, it's mainly because somebody is in conflict with God's will, God way, and God's word!!!!

When Praises Go Up, Blessings Come Down

It was 1996 when I first heard this statement in a song. I fell in love with the words and the music to it until I developed my own style of playing it on the keyboards. I also discovered a deeper search of the words that not only when praises go up, blessings come down but also when praises go up the BLESSER, which is God comes down. He said he inhabits the praises of his people. So when we start praising God, he will come and rest upon our hearts and give us the peace and joy that we need to make it through life's circumstances. Many times when people say the statement: When praises go up, blessings come down, they are generally talking about material things such as money, houses, a mate, a baby, a job, etc. But none of these things bring sufficient joy and peace but the happiness that comes with them fade over time. Money spends, houses get old and need repairs and improvement, spouses are imperfect people, babies take more love than they give, and jobs can be stressful. If you want to feel the presence of God and have joy even in the midst of sorrow and the storms that you face in life, PRAISE will take you right into the presence of God and he will fill you with your heart's desire. Praise from a sincere heart toward God will ultimately lead you to worship and worship will get you into the throneroom where God can talk to you and reveal his mind. So as I send up praises to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, even if the material things don't come down the way I expect them to, his presence and peace will be enough to carry me throughout my day. Thank you Jesus for coming down to me and manifesting your awesome glory!!!!

Challenges to Changes

It's a proven fact that if you don't challenge a person to change, they will just stay the same. Sometimes people don't recognize their need to change. They think others should just accept them the way they are. Nobody should have to change in order for people to like them but when it comes to character flaws that can lead to danger and destruction of oneself and others, then sometimes tough love is the best solution. When people settle for tolerating someone who they obviously want them to change their ways and habits, it only makes life worse for themselves because the other person sees no reason to have to change if they can still have the other person in their life anyway. I'm amazed at how some people NEVER change no matter how foolish their life choices are and they grow old still locked up with the same mentality. I don't believe that people who are destined for greatness ever become comfortable  where they are because things around them are always changing. It's only those who settle for mediocrity who is satisfied with the same old same old. On the other hand, people with vision get frustrated when things appear not to be changing at least for the better anyway. If you place a visionary in the same room with an ordinary, it will always appear that the visionary is controlling, bossy, and dissatisfied. We are mainly dissatisfied because we need to know that our words and actions are having an impact on the environment and without seeing change either in the long run or the short run, it makes us work harder. As a result of our desire to see transformation in situations and people, when there is bleak progress or no responsiveness to our extensions of attention and voice, we move on to the next project. One thing about a visionary is that just because we failed over here doesn't count us out for succeeding over there and we rarely become stationary for long periods of time in a place or with people who have no drive to change. Rather, we are what I call, "movers and shakers" looking for a landmark to create new destinies.

True Value

The most unlikely things and people have the most extraordinary value. When we look at things, situations, and people, we should train ourselves to look beyond what we see. Many times we'll never discover the true value of a thing just looking on the surface. I'm a very analytical and inquisitive person, so my deepest frustrations stem from not being supplied with details at face value. Therefore, I must search and study a person or situation to form ideas to unanswered questions. Sometimes the quest can be interesting, or exhausting, but I keep going until I find out why something did or did not happen. I'm not always happy with the results, but the upside of it all is gaining closure. Then once I get the answers that I was looking for (not exactly wanting though), I feel free to move on to the next project(s). The last project actually took me many years to put everything together to find out something about an individual. In the beginning, I prayed for God to tell me why this person who I could not understand was the way they were. Well, I got my answer from God last year in 2013. I won't go into any details about the individual, but I will say that the title they wear fits them perfectly and even though I couldn't understand, I've learned to appreciate the voyage of gathering information through conversation and observation and now I can say without a doubt I know them and their true value.

Crying Out Against Pornography

I  am convinced that this won't be a very popular and well accepted blog, but I will take my chances anyway to post for readers who are interested in discovering the dangers of this kind of behavior. Many people watch pornography very comfortably and some even engage in it. Porn is one of the addictions that has captured the freedom of many Christians. The danger in watching pornography is that first of all, it is a work of the flesh, and not the Holy Spirit. As I will do my best to remain informative about the subject rather than personal, I must say that I cannot seem to understand the how and why behind watching porn. Some people say it is to arouse them especially when they're with their mate. But to me it's like going into a restaurant and sitting at the table and watching everyone else enjoy they're food. That totally doesn't make any sense to me. Furthermore, pornography is an evil spirit with its roots lying in perversion. Perversion is the strong man or head demon of all kinds of sexual sins. Perversion consists of adultery, fornication, homosexuality, incest, bestiality, rape, and molestation. So when people invite this so-called friend, which is really an enemy, into their homes and lives, they are entertaining and activating demonic spirits into their lives. Again I'm trying not to be too personal, but it sickens me to see supposedly born-again believers who praise and magnify God/Jesus on Sunday and mid-week services, but play around on Satan's playground in their private lives. Most people will say that what they do in private is nobody's business. But the truth of the matter is pornography and any other sexual sin is very public and makes a noise for kindred spirits to recognize and attach themselves to keep the person or the couple further enslaved. Pornography or other forms of sexual sins produce fruits that its victims do not enjoy consuming. As I stated earlier, it releases demonic spirits into the home which causes a person to think and act more fleshy and less godly. Many Christians who have bought into the lie that it's ok, eventually get hooked on it and desire to stop watching it or to stop fornicating on God but realize they have become back bound after Jesus had done set them free. Many sit in the pews of churches and can't get a breakthrough in the Spirit of God because their minds have traveled so far away from God during participation in this evil activity. One thing about the flesh is that it will NEVER be satisfied but will always want more and more of fleshy and worldly things. And the more a person feeds into their flesh, the more they choke out the Spirit of God. I am mainly talking about church folks and people who say they are saved because people who do not profess to know Christ will do whatever they want to do without giving a second thought. But saved, Holy Ghost-filled folks should know better. We wonder why there is so much teen pregnancy and babies out of wedlock amongst Christian juveniles. Because Matthew 7:17 says that a tree is known by the fruit it bears. And that is not to say that every Christian whose daughter  or son got a baby out of wedlock was watching pornography or participating in sexual sin, but the general idea is that when porn is in the home, and readily accepted and even encouraged, youth are more likely to satisfy their curiosity of what mommy and daddy has been doing and watching. However, nowadays, pornography is very easily accessible and youth can download any kind of triple X material out there. That's why its so important for Christian mothers and Christian fathers to stay before God in prayer for their children and themselves as well. I understand that everyone has different struggles and some Christians struggle with a desire to watch pornography or have eextramarital affairs or engage in same-sex activity. Quite frankly, I think people are not hell-scared enough to stay away from the forbidden. Even when Satan sends an imp my way to try to tempt me into sexual sin or a lustful conversation, I instantly think about my relationship with God first and how heartbroken he would be if I severed what we have to go a-whoring after strange flesh. I once told a friend that I do not cheat on my husband, not just because I love him, but because I love GOD. I believe if a person's love for God ran deep enough, they would resist temptation with everything they have on the inside of them. This kind of love also runs deep in the mind where you fantasize on ways to please the Lord by the way you deal with people. There has been times when I have tried to minister to men, and they couldn't hear anything I was saying for trying to get the opportunity to ask me for my phone number. But because I love God, I can see lost men as potential brothers in Christ who needs to see a difference in a holy woman because most unsaved men tempt church ladies because they've seen so much looseness and compromise. Well, I let them know quickly that I'm not like those other women who shout and dance and speak in tongues and fall all out on the floor on Sunday morning, but hikesing up their dress and coming out of their underwear with men they're not married to on Sunday night. To me that is a very ugly and distasteful lifestyle. I love men and I want to be respected by them. Therefore, I understand that I must maintain discretion and integrity even when a nice-looking dude approaches me. As far as saved men or at least I'll say church going men who make it known that they find me attractive, I'm a little more stern with how I deal with them because it usually comes to me as a turn off when a brother can preach the paint off the wall or sing like the heavenly angels, but then no soon as the service is over or at a later date, he strikes up a conversation about  he can't get me off his mind. It's extremely difficult to receive a holy message from someone like that when they don't appear to be striving against sin. On the other hand, when it comes to lesbians or bisexual women, I be so tempted to just flat out tell them to GO TO HELL!!!!! But then I have to take a step back and consider they have a soul too and God can use me to witness to them because really their minds are not right. I'm not judging them or judging homosexual men because they are in need of the Savior and to be delivered. But I must say, that I have to be led by the Spirit of Christ to minister to someone on a level which I have no understanding for why they do what they do. Even with the pornography and sexual sins among heterosexuals, I see it as people trying to fill a void that can only be filled by Jesus Christ and his love. There is no love in pornography, it's just sex. Any kind of sex that doesn't glorify God in the body, will always leave emptiness in the soul and frustration in the mind. So with all that said, I cry out against pornography and sexual perversion. God wants us to be holy and he wants us to be clean in mind, body, and soul. I pray that this blog has blessed the reader in a very unprecedented way.
