False Teachers (continued)

So I look up an article to help guide me in my blog about false teachers in the church and I find this one article in particular that the author strategically makes a list of different denominational groups who he claims is a part of the apostate church. Mind you, he has Pentecostals mentioned in there and flagrantly blasphemes against the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues and says that Pentecostals are part of a cult. This has been the strategy of Satan since the day of Pentecost when the people said that those who were speaking in tongues were drunk. My question is why is it that people can pretty much accept everything else written in the New Testament but don't want to accept that speaking in tongues is the evidence that one has been filled with the Holy Spirit and that water baptism in Jesus name(NOT THE TITLES FATHER, SON, AND HOLY GHOST) is the ONLY correct way to be baptized and to baptize others? The answer to that question is what Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4:3 that if the gospel be hid it is hid to them which are lost. My husband and I visited a church a few weeks ago and the bishop made the offer for sinners to come and be saved. Well he called my husband up to the altar along with some other gentlemen to pray for the young man who wanted to be saved. After the fellows finished praying for the young man, the bishop told the young man, "Welcome to the kingdom". ARE YOU SERIOUS?????? Anyway, me and my husband haven't been back every since. The scriptures clearly tell us in John 3:5 that a man must be born again of the WATER and of the SPIRIT. The water is for baptism to wash away the sins in the blood of Jesus and then God fills the individual with the Holy Ghost and they will speak in tongues, which is a language they can use in private prayerand worship to God or in a public worship service in church, but decently and in order. These two things have been totally alleviated from the teachings and practices in many of the mainstream churches. My heart went out to that young man because he can easily be deceived thinking he is saved and on his way to heaven just like many other believing Christians who fight against tongues and water baptism in Jesus name. This is not just something that Pentecostals believe but this is bible truth. We have the Word to back up what we teach and practice. Furthermore, there is a group of Pentecostals who tempt God by literally handling snakes as part of the general worship service. Yes, they be speaking in tongues but the difference between some speaking in tongues who have the Holy Ghost is that they will speak as the Spirit gives the utterance. Of course, I do not believe that EVERYBODY who speaks in tongues are filled with God's Spirit because there are counterfeit tongues and tongues that people make up and practice on their own. That's where the real saints of God need the gift of interpretation operating in the Church. However, the genuine filling of the Holy Ghost comes with the anointing that changes a person's life and helps them to bear the fruit of the Spirit according to Galatians 5:22-23. A truly HOLY GHOST filled person will be loving, have peace and make peace, show kindness, forgive others, and demonstrate faithfulness and patience AND they will speak in tongues too. Speaking in tongues is NOT separated from all the other attributes of the other manifestations of a Spirit-filled person, no matter how false teachers try to annihilate it out of a person's intellect when tthey come to know Christ as Lord and Savior. We must believe in the Cross and in Pentecost in order to fully obey the gospel. Much of this stuff that people are teaching and preaching now are just all-inclusive messages that sound good and give people an easy way to heaven. But that's not Jesus way of doing it. Acts 14:22 says that through much tribulation will we enter into the kingdom of God. It's easy just to pray a prayer over somebody or have them to repeat a prayer but it takes some work to gather up the proper garments and fill up a baptism pool, and get in that cold liquid grave and spiritually bury someone in Jesus name. For ROMANS 6:4 says we are buried with him in baptism. That takes some effort. It also takes patience and diligence to work with new converts in receiving the Holy Ghost. Sometimes people come up out of the water already speaking in tongues, but for others it takes longer because sometimes there are demonic spirits that need to be cast out of them and they need deliverance. YES, deliverance can take place BEFORE a person gets the Holy Spirit but this is not to be confused with having the Holy Spirit. Jesus explains this in Luke 11:24-26 about an unclean spirit going out of a person and if the house is left empty (without the Holy Spirit), then the unclean spirit can come back and take possession of the person with seven other demons more wicked than himself. So many times when people come up to the altar and they are crying and shouting, sometimes they be repenting from sins or they have just a good feeling because they can feel God cleaning them and delivering them from some things, but after that deliverance takes place, then there is room for only one of two things, either the individual presses on and allow God to fill them with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues or they leave thinking they actually have it and never seek the baptism in the Spirit. If they never seek to have this experience, then they will find themselves like many others in such cases, knowing that they received a touch from God but still wrestling with things of the sinful nature that they cannot seem to break free of. These kinds of people really love the Lord and want to do right, but they are powerless trying to do it on their own. My friend, you need the gift of the Holy Ghost working actively in your life and all the fruits that come with it in order to live a victorious life.
